It depends on the experience you want to create for your guests! Our Signature Photo Booth offers the classic photo booth experience with on-site prints. The Digital Photo Booth is an easy, self-service option designed for digital sharing. Our Roaming Experience brings the fun directly to your guests, while the Overhead 360 Experience captures immersive video without a platform or rotating arm. For something more elevated, our Portrait Experience brings the feel of a professional portrait studio to your event.
The sooner, the better! Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and popular weekends can fill quickly. Once you know your event date, we recommend checking availability even if you're still working out the details.
Most of our stationary experiences require a minimum 10' × 10' setup area on a flat, stable surface. Some experiences may require more or less space, so we'll confirm the setup requirements for the experience you select.
For most experiences, we'll need a safe setup area and access to a standard electrical outlet. Power at the designated setup location must be provided by the client or venue. We'll take care of bringing in, setting up, and breaking down our equipment.
Absolutely. Outdoor events just require a little extra planning. Our equipment must be protected from direct sun, rain, wind, and other outdoor elements, so the client is responsible for providing an adequately covered or shaded setup area.
No power nearby? We have generators available to rent. Need coverage for your setup? Tent rentals are also available for an additional fee.
No. Internet connectivity for our equipment is included with your experience, so you typically do not need to provide venue Wi-Fi.
Some locations may have limited or no cellular signal. If we're unable to connect during your event, don't worry. Your photos and videos will still be captured. Digital sharing may be delayed, and your completed event gallery will be uploaded and sent to you once a reliable connection is available.
Some do! Our Signature Photo Booth includes on-site printing with a custom print design, and our Portrait Experience includes a 4×6 print for each person photographed. Our Digital, Roaming, and 360 Experiences are designed around digital delivery and sharing.
Yes. Depending on the experience you select, we can create a custom print design or digital overlay to complement your celebration. This can include your names, event date, colors, theme, logo, or other event details.
Yes! HI Photobooths & Events is based on Oʻahu and available for events across the Hawaiian Islands. Neighbor Island bookings are welcomed. Travel arrangements and applicable fees will depend on the island, venue, and experience selected.
Our staffed experiences include a friendly team member to assist your guests and keep the experience running smoothly. The Digital Photo Booth is intentionally designed as a self-service experience, so an attendant is not required.
Start by choosing your experience and exploring the available packages. Once you've found the right fit, you can begin your reservation through our booking system. Your date is officially reserved once all required booking steps, agreements, and payments have been completed.
A signed service agreement and 50% retainer are required to reserve your event date. The remaining balance is due one month before your event. Your date is not considered reserved until the required agreement and retainer have been completed.
We understand that plans can change. Retainers and payments made toward a reservation are non-refundable. Additional payment obligations may apply to cancellations made within six months of the scheduled event date. Please refer to your service agreement for the complete cancellation terms.
Please note: Your signed service agreement contains the complete terms regarding payments, cancellations, postponements, weather, overtime, equipment, and other booking policies. If there is a difference between information provided on our website and your signed agreement, the terms of your agreement apply.
Yes, subject to availability. If your event is postponed, payments and contracted services may be transferred to a new available date in accordance with your service agreement. Please contact us as soon as possible so we can review your new date and any changes to the payment schedule.
